We proclaim

Welcome to
Ragland Memorial Baptist church

We are so glad you have visited our website, and we are honored to introduce ourselves to you. Ragland is a family of believers who are committed to living out our faith in Jesus Christ together. We strive to take our faith seriously but are committed to not taking ourselves too seriously. Whether you are a follower of Christ and looking to get involved in the local church or interested in the claims of Christ, we desire the opportunity to meet you in person.

Important worship update

We are thrilled to be able to meet together inside our building now after several months. We will be utilizing our sanctuary (live) and fellowship hall (live-stream) to accommodate appropriate social distancing. The service will continue to be live-streamed on our facebook page in the event you are unable to join us in person. We understand and support you whatever you decide.

Key points to note:
 - Masks are required.
 - There will be no nursery or children’s church. (We always encourage your children to worship with us as you are comfortable!)
 - Hand sanitizer available at each entrance/exit.
 - The service will be about 1 hour.
 - If you are sick or hesitant to worship with us in person, please join us online.

We can’t wait to worship with you all!

A Letter from the Youth group:

The youth at RMBC are teaming up with the Missions team this season to support young adults from Tanzania in their efforts to attend college and we are asking you to consider joining us! Below are two examples of the young adults that we will be supporting.

Our goal is to raise $18,000 BY OCTOBER 31st.

If you feel led to support us and this cause then please donate to the Missions Fund through the giving page. If you would like to know more about City of Hope and their outreach then please visit their website at www.teamworkcityofhope.com/.

THANK YOU for joining us!
RMBC Youth
John is 18 and from a small village in Tanzania. He went to City of Hope, (a non-profit, dedicated to helping the children of Tanzania) when he was 8. Because of City of Hope, in 2015 he was able to come to the U.S. for high school and was accepted to attend  Milligan University. He is planning to study Graphic Design, then go back to Tanzania to help the families and children there.
Joyce is attending Patrick Henry Community College where she is studying to be an accountant. She also wishes to return to Tanzania and use her skills to help. In Tanzania she lived with her grandma who was taking care of 14 other grandkids. Her grandmother decided to take some of them to  City of Hope, where they could get an education and other necessities. Joyce also came to the U.S. in 2015 for college.

We are still in need of volunteers to help with shoebox collection November 16-23.  Each collection day is broken up into 2-hour time slots but we can work with your availability.  See the link below to sign up or contact Lisa Childress Bowen!
