We proclaim

Welcome to
Ragland Memorial Baptist church

We are so glad you have visited our website, and we are honored to introduce ourselves to you. Ragland is a family of believers who are committed to living out our faith in Jesus Christ together. We strive to take our faith seriously but are committed to not taking ourselves too seriously. Whether you are a follower of Christ and looking to get involved in the local church or interested in the claims of Christ, we desire the opportunity to meet you in person.
Due to the recent rise in COVID cases our Sunday Service will be online only this week (Sunday January 3, 2021).

Important worship update

We are thrilled to be able to meet together inside our building now after several months. We will be utilizing our sanctuary (live) and fellowship hall (live-stream) to accommodate appropriate social distancing. The service will continue to be live-streamed on our facebook page in the event you are unable to join us in person. We understand and support you whatever you decide.

Key points to note:
 - Masks are required.
 - Children’s church is available. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer nursery at this time.
 - Hand sanitizer available at each entrance/exit.
 - The service will be about 1 hour.
 - If you are sick or hesitant to worship with us in person, please join us online.

We can’t wait to worship with you all!

Virtual Women’s Bible studies

Women’s Ministry hopes your Christmas was blessed and that your New Year has been bright! As we embark on 2021, we cannot wait to hop back into sisterly fellowship with you again through the study of God’s word. We will continue to meet virtually via Zoom. All information for joining will be included in your registration confirmation. The committee had plans to begin a book of the Bible this month, and the Monday Morning ladies will be kicking off their study in Philippians as planned. However, PREPARATION was also laid on our hearts as a starting point for the Monday Evening Bible Study with a dive into a book of the Bible afterward.

Again, we are so excited to offer these two studies to our Ragland family and the women in our community! So grab a friend or family member and join us. You can register for both studies from the Women’s Ministry page by following the ‘Learn More’ button below. Thank you in advance for showing us grace and filling out the form completely, so we can better serve you!

In service and love,
RMBC Women’s Ministry

Small Groups are Back!

We are very excited for our Small Groups to start meeting again! We have all missed studying God’s Word together in community with our brothers and sisters in Christ!  Click the button below to see a full list of groups and Bible Study descriptions.

A Letter from the Youth group:

The youth at RMBC are teaming up with the Missions team this season to support young adults from Tanzania in their efforts to attend college and we are asking you to consider joining us! Below are two examples of the young adults that we will be supporting.

Our goal is to raise $18,000 BY OCTOBER 31st.

If you feel led to support us and this cause then please donate to the Missions Fund through the giving page. If you would like to know more about City of Hope and their outreach then please visit their website at www.teamworkcityofhope.com/.

THANK YOU for joining us!
RMBC Youth
John is 18 and from a small village in Tanzania. He went to City of Hope, (a non-profit, dedicated to helping the children of Tanzania) when he was 8. Because of City of Hope, in 2015 he was able to come to the U.S. for high school and was accepted to attend  Milligan University. He is planning to study Graphic Design, then go back to Tanzania to help the families and children there.
Joyce is attending Patrick Henry Community College where she is studying to be an accountant. She also wishes to return to Tanzania and use her skills to help. In Tanzania she lived with her grandma who was taking care of 14 other grandkids. Her grandmother decided to take some of them to  City of Hope, where they could get an education and other necessities. Joyce also came to the U.S. in 2015 for college.
